Eight Arrested In Dawson Creek Street Level Drug Op
Dawson Creek, BC – A three-month RCMP operation targeting alleged 'street level' cocaine dealers in Dawson Creek has resulted in eight arrests…
The accused range in age from 21 to 57 years old and face charges of trafficking cocaine, or possession for the purpose of trafficking in connection with the operation which began last November and wrapped up in January.
RCMP Corporal James Rutledge says police expect to arrest another six people in connection with this investigation once charges are approved by Crown Counsel.
In addition, Corporal Rutledge says officers will be making application for forfeiture on the second pick-up truck seized in two months, which was used in the drug trade.
Rutledge says, "The RCMP is extremely grateful to the community members who supported this initiative in order to make Dawson Creek a safer place to raise a family."

Are they out yet and wandering around after giving a judge a promise? I’m so cynical.
Where do you suppose the coke came from? There is only one supplier to the dealers.
