'Share the Energy' is the theme of this year's AGM and attendees were given a first-hand look at an natural gas operational camp and drilling rig yesterday, followed by an afternoon workshop to discuss the association's strengths, weaknesses and opportunities with NCLGA President, Bruce Christensen, and evening tradeshow and reception.

Today, delegates get down to the 'meat and potatoes' of the convention with Christensen set to deliver an annual report and nominations for a new NCLGA Executive and Directors at Large set to come from the floor.  Union of BC Municipalities President, Rhona Martin, is scheduled to address the delegates this afternoon, followed by an evening banquet that will feature a keynote address from Olympic Medalist and Fort St John native, Denny Morrison.

A focus session tomorrow will look at workcamps in BC – the benefits of these 'mobile' workforces, and the issues they create for industry and nearby communities due to the lack of regulations.
