Prince George, BC – The Elder Citizen's Recreation Association is anticipating between 80 and 100 city residents will make time for tea this afternoon…
The Association is holding its annual plant sale and strawberry tea at the Rec Centre at 1692 10th Avenue, with the angel food cake being prepared with healthy dollops of strawberries and whip cream.
ECRA member, Diana Myers, says the spring tea has been an annual fundraiser for many years, helping to support activities at the centre. This year's tea is being hosted by the floor curlers.
Myers says the association is made up of 700 members. She says it's open to all and invites any interested in to stop by and check it out. Today's tea is from 1:30pm until 3:30pm.
