Saturday, May 24, 2014 @ 4:49 PM

Prince George, BC – Emergency First Responders were on the scene of an apparent two-vehicle collision on Highway 16 West at Kimball Road this afternoon…

While no details are available from the RCMP at this time, the force of the collision knocked one vehicle on its side, while the other vehicle came very close to hitting a light post at the side of the highway. (photo at right submitted)

Both PG Fire Rescue and the BC Ambulance Service attended the crash.  It is not known if anyone was transported from the scene.

The same intersection was the scene of a two vehicle crash at approximately the same time in the afternoon, two Saturdays ago.

That’s it! We will have to suspend Saturday afternoons until drivers drive more safely.

Impatience, or blind?

Today was a very busy day on the highways. I’m surprised there was not more accidents the way people were driving. Never saw so many turning left and right onto Ferry thus afternoon. What was so special about that street!

Kimball rd hwy 16 intersection is a very busy no light intersection. I suppose it has not hit the death/injury number for a light yet.

Bad intersection.
If someone’s tailgating me, or even if I’m holding them up, I just pull over when it’s safe to do so. Saw some real winners on the highway coming up from the okanagan today. Unsafe drivers both slow and fast.
