Missing Chilliwack Man Could Be In P.G. Area
Prince George, B.C.- A Chilliwack man is missing and may be in the Prince George region.
Chilliwack RCMP are hoping the public can help them locate 89 year old William Mooney who was last seen May 1st at a credit union in Chilliwack.
Police and family members are concerned for his physical and mental health and are asking the public to help them find him.
Mooney is Caucasian male who is approximately 5’7” tall and weighs 165 pounds. He is balding on top and has white hair on the sides. He was last seen wearing a short sleeve checkered shirt and faded grey work pants.
Mooney left his residence on Young Road in his vehicle which is a red 2009 Mazda pickup truck with chrome running boards. The licence plate on his truck is British Columbia 5064LV.
Anyone with any information regarding William Mooney is asked to call the Chilliwack RCMP immediately at 604 792-4611.

If they are concerned about his mental health, why is he still driving at age 89? I hope he is found safe and sound.
Shouldn’t this be titled “SILVER ALERT”. It gets a bit more attention.
Huh, think about it.
There could be other reasons besides old age the Police and family members are concerned for his physical and mental health.
Is it possible that he may not have medications with him? Can you think of anything else? He may not be able defend himself from someone or he may take peoples kindness for granted come to mind.
