Three Arrested in Vanderhoof Bust
Vanderhoof, B.C. – Two females and one male from Vanderhoof are facing possible drug charges following a bust in that community.
Acting on information put forth by the public, RCMP executed a search warrant on a residence near Lakes District Rd and Stoney Creek Rd on the weekend.
Upon reviewing the information and conducting surveillance on the residence, we were able to successfully obtain a warrant for the house" says Corporal Justin Thiessen, Vanderhoof Detachment Commander, "We often rely on information from the public in order to advance cases, they are our eyes and ears out in the community and this investigation is a good example of how all those elements came together.
Three arrests were made as a result of the execution of the warrant. The trio has since been released and The Vanderhoof RCMP will be recommending charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
