Holes in Victim’s Clothing Focus of Legebokoff Trial
Prince George, B.C. –Former Prince George RCMP Forensic Identification Unit lead, Sgt. Norman Striker (retired) continued his testimony at the multiple murder trial of Cody Legebokoff yesterday.
Striker led the jury through photos taken at the autopsy of Cynthia Maas. Her body had been found in L.C. Gunn Park in October of 2010.
In photo after photo, Striker pointed out the holes in the clothing that had been removed from Ms. Maas’ body. Holes in the right shoulder area of her black fleece jacket, her brown shirt and her camisole (undershirt).
Striker pointed out numerous holes where he said the fabric had been “either punctured or sliced”.
While there were numerous holes in the front of the shirt and undershirt, Striker testified he was not able to make a “physical match” of the holes in the three articles of clothing by lining them up, but said the undershirt, shirt and jacket all had what appeared to be puncture marks in the upper right shoulder and that the holes were, in his words, “in agreement.”
The trial continues.
