Prince George, B.C.- The International Bioenergy Conference welcomes delegates to Prince George today with an International partnerships forum and business to business meetings.

The three day conference at the Civic Centre will welcome 400 delegates, some from as far away as Sweden, to the three day conference.
The Province has contributed $10,000 to the hosting of the event which swings into full gear tomorrow morning.
The theme of this year’s conference is Pathways to Bio Diversity, as bioenergy moves from the traditional thoughts to opportunities in refining biomass for chemicals and fuels.

Biodiversity is the degree of variation of life.[1] This can refer to genetic variation, species variation, or ecosystem variation within an area, biome, or planet.
The word has nothing to do with energy production. Just another word misappropriated to a contentious issue in order to breed some semblance of familiarity.
Micro-generation is the future. The problem with any self generation is that it cannot be billed as a subscription service like gas or central distributed electricity. That is why there is no industry support.
