Major Road Rehab Projects Start Today

Dark blue lines and numbers correspond with list of projects to start this week
Prince George, B.C.- Weather permitting, the $9.8 million dollars worth of road rehabilitation projects in the City of Prince George, are to get underway today.
The asphalt plants are running, the materials ready, and the first roads on the list for upgrades are:
- Westwood Drive (between Massey Drive and Athlone Avenue) Estimated cost $226,000
- Ahbau Street (between 15th Avenue and 10th Avenue) Estimated cost $137,000
- 22nd Avenue (between Ospika Boulevard and Weber Crescent) Estimated cost $256,000
- Quinn Street (between 22nd Avenue and Opie Crescent) Estimated cost $75,000
If the weather cooperates, this first round of road rehab projects is expected to be complete by Friday.
Drivers are advised there will be delays, and alternate routes would be a wise choice.

What about Dawson road in the Hart. I have a truck and damn near need a kidney belt to handle all the heaves and sunken sections. It’s deplorable.
