Single Vehicle Crash

Sunday, June 15, 2014 @ 2:51 PM

Prince George, B.C.-  A single vehicle crash off Chief Lake Road this afternoon  brought out first responders from  Police, Fire and BC Ambulance.

The  vehicle went off  Chief Lake Road,  coming to rest  on  property south of the roadway,  just west of the intersection with Mountain View Road.

There were no  serious injuries and  occupants of the vehicle were  able to get out on their own.

The cause of the crash has not been  finalized, but initial  investigation would  support a theory that the driver lost  control having over compensated when the  vehicle  hit the shoulder.

That’s a lot of expensive resources for a crash resulting in non-serious injuries, no fire and looks like it wasn’t blocking traffic.

Sine Nomine if you had been in their position would you rather err on the side of caution or take the chance that that there might not of been injuries. I’d rather have the resourses dispatched rather than not

Cops have to be there to hand out tickets.

Fortunately, they didn’t shoot any unarmed people in the back. They can’t stop or solve any serious crime but if you drive off the road rest assured, they’ll be all over you.

I drive my car through way worse stuff than that.

Wow. Second nasty cop comment tonight. You’re on a roll. I’m guessing you got a ticket. Well, suck it up buttercup.

Nothing of the sort; I’m just tired of the few bad cops overshadowing the many, many good ones.

A few years back I was helping the kids on a spring ditch cleanup fundraiser and I found a front spoiler and bumper cover off of a Pontiac in that same spot. Same guy? LOL
