Prince George, B.C. – It Father’s Day and one of the places you may want to visit is Fort George Park, where the Cruisin Classics Car Club is hosting the 40th Father’s Day Show ‘n Shine, featuring a wide array of vintage automobiles.

Folks who happened to be out and about town Saturday were in for a treat as some of the Show n Shine cars and trucks drove around city streets.  Then, quite unexpectedly, late in the afternoon they showed up at Fort George Park where the owners sat down for a barbecue.  That was a bit of a surprise to see them in the park the day before the event, but onlookers took the time to enjoy the sneak peek.

Show ‘n Shine runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and will share the park with the Metis Heritage Day celebrations there.  The Prince George Metis Community Association is inviting everyone to enjoy the food, entertainment and cultural activity between 11 and 4.
