Quesnel, B.C.- Celebration time at G.R. Baker hospital in Quesnel.

The renovations to the hospital’s pharmacy are complete, and  reps from  the Hospital,  Northern Health, Cariboo Chilcotin Regional District and the Provincial Government were on  hand to officially  mark the completion of the project.

The renovations to the pharmacy include the creation of a private counseling room for those receiving medications and relocating the pharmacy and sterile preparation room.

Staff put together the layout of the  renos.

The renovation project started last October and finished last month.

The $1.8 million in renovations were funded by the Province of B.C., Northern Health and the Cariboo Chilcotin Regional Hospital District.
