Six Vehicles Damaged In FSJ Crashes
Fort St John, BC – Three people were injured and six vehicles damaged in two crashes that occurred on the Alaska Highway just 90-minutes apart in Fort St. John yesterday…
In the first collision, RCMP say a van ran a red light on the highway and struck a vehicle in the intersection – the impact of the crash pushed the van into another vehicle stopped at the light. Police say the 31-year-old female driver of the van received minor injures, while her three-year-old passenger was transported to hospital with facial lacerations. Charges are being considered.
The second collision occurred when the driver of a vehicle failed to stop for a flag person. RCMP say the vehicle struck a truck turning left in front of it – the momentum of the collision pushed the truck into a third vehicle. One person was taken to hospital as a result. Charges are also being considered in this crash under the BC Motor Vehicle Act.
