Prince George, B.C. – It is now, officially summer.
The summer solstice in the northern hemisphere officially occurred at 3:51 this morning Pacific Daylight Time.
The summer solstice day has the longest period of daylight except in the Arctic where daylight will be 24 hours for anywhere from a few days to several months.
In Prince George, with this morning's sunrise at 4:39, and setting at 9:47 this evening, the City will have about 17 hours and 7 minutes of daylight today.
That will start to dwindle tomorrow, when 6 seconds will be shaved off that daylight total.

Yeah! And it is looking to be another glorious sunny day in P.G. (:
Science aside, summer in Prince George is the last two weeks of July.
