Two Quesnel Men Face Charges In Stand Off
Quesnel- Two Quesnel men face charges following an incident on the Barkerville highway on Saturday night. The two aged 67, and 23, were involved in a traffic stop . The officer suspected an impaired driver and made a demand for a breath sample. When the 67 year old refused, he was arrested for failing to provide a breath sample.
Police allege, at this point, the two men became combative , and began to strike the police officer to the head. The officer radioed for backup.
When a second officer arrived, the two men fled into a nearby home. The officer was taken to Quesnel hospital with non life threatening injuries. He suffered from head injuries and a dislocated shoulder.
Police entered the home some four hours later, and arrested the two men with the assistance of a police dog. The 23 year old sustained a minor injury from a dog bite. He received three stitches to close the wound.
The 67 year old is facing charges of, refusing to provide a breath sample, while the 23 year old is facing charges of assaulting a police officer.

mommy took heir lollipops away from then when they were three so that will justify them acting as they did…. it seems to work for other crimes , why not this one.. it was the officers fault for doing his job….
and numberous other pleas… I doubt they will get much more than a small, and I mean small fine.
