Prince George, BC – One of the anticipated releases of the summer opened today at Famous Players…
The first showing of Transformers: Age of Extinction went at 11:45am this morning. And while many Transformer fans have been waiting for the fourth installment of the series, maybe none as expectantly as employees at James Western Star Truck & Trailer…
The reason: Optimus Prime has undergone a transformation…into a Western Star.
Local Parts Manager, Jeremy Isabelle, and employee Jessica Topley are taking full advantage of the celebrity connection, inviting movie-goers to take a look at a 'real' version outside the theatre this afternoon.
For kids, it's a chance to climb inside the cab of one of their favourite movie characters, while parents have the opportunity to talk trucks. There's also a spin-to-win wheel with hats, sunglasses, and even free movie tickets up for grabs.
Isabelle says one of the actual set trucks will be making the trip to Prince George next spring and Western Star plans to roll out the red carpet with a BBQ 'meet' and greet.
