Benning Adds More Young Talent To Canucks Stable

Prince George, B.C. – The new general manager of the Vancouver Canucks continues to change the look of the franchise, adding five more young players through the NHL Entry Draft on Saturday.
One day after trading disgruntled forward Ryan Kesler to Anaheim and moving defenceman Jim Garrison to Tampa, G.M. Jim Benning selected goaltender Thatcher Demko, centre Kyle Petit, and defensemen Gustav Forsling of Sweden, Nikita Tryamkin of Russia and WHL product Mackenzie Stewart in the draft.
