RCMP Offer Tours of New Detachment
Prince George, B.C. – So, you would like to see the inside of the new Prince George RCMP detachment? ( at right, photo of atrium in new detachment courtesy RCMP)
Then circle the following dates and times as the local detachment is welcoming the public inside to tour the new facility.
- Wednesday, July 9th from 6pm.-9p.m
- Thursday July 10th from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday July 12th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
The RCMP say the tours are being offered to “law abiding citizens of Prince George and the surrounding communities we police” Be advised, officers and staff have the right to refuse access to anyone who doesn’t meet that standard.
If you plan to take advantage of this tour opportunity, bring along government photo identification if you are over 18. Keep in mind there are some areas of the detachment that will be off limits, you will not be allowed to take photos.
Tours will be given on a first come, first served basis, so be prepared to wait a while.

seen a female cop sitting 1st in a turning lane at 16 & 97 typing on her console.
working downtown yesterday had a cop stop and ask us to repair something cuz people down there stash there drugz meanwhile syringes are laying right there on the sidewalk.
