RCMP Try to Locate Missing Couple

THE MISSING COUPLE HAVE BEEN LOCATED

 

RCMP  are hoping the public can help them locat a Nazko  couple.

William and Rosie Cassam were last scene at the Treasure Cove Casino last night at approximately 9:00 PM.

William Cassam, ( in photo at right) is described as:

  • First Nations male
  • 80 years old
  • 183 cm (6')
  • Slender build
  • Short grey hair
  • Wearing: glasses, blue jeans, a jean jacket and a straw cowboy hat

Rosie Cassam ( no photo available)  is described:

  • First Nations female
  • 72 years old
  • 165 cm (5'5")
  • Slender build
  • Long grey hair, usually in a braid
  • Wearing: glasses, a purple coat and black dress pants

Police and family are concerned as both William and Rosie suffer from medical issues, have no money and do not know anyone in Prince George.

All checks in our community have been negative so far.  It is believed that the couple has been separated from each other.

I hope that they are both found safe and sound, soon. The question bears to be asked though. If neither had any money, what were they doing at the Casino ?

Maybe they were looking for someone they knew there.

Or maybe they were just spending their money in the casino.

I know them. I’m not sure who else he knows in Prince George, but William knows people in Saik’uz (Stoney Creek).

Some people like the food at the casino. I know one person who goes there for the halibut.

Apparently they have been located and everything is fine.
