More Heat On The Way

Prince George, B.C. – People susceptible to heat-related issues should take note of the hot weather in the forecast from Environment Canada for the beginning of the week.
Today will be mainly sunny with local smoke and a high of 35 degrees.
Tonight: Clear with local smoke and a low of 12.
Monday: Mainly sunny and a high of 34.
Tuesday: Sunny. High 33.
Wednesday: Sunny. High 29.
Thursday: Sunny. High 27.
Friday: Sunny. High 26.
Saturday: Sunny. High 28.
So what are people doing to beat the heat? Fort George Park and the Rotary Water Spray park are favourites year in and year out. The youngsters enjoyed the refreshing water while moms and dads found cover beneath the trees.
Over in the parking lot outside the Four Seasons Pool, BMO Bear was staying in the shade and loaded with ice on the final day of the KidzArt Dayz festivities. At the same time the Rocket Launching booth had loads of kids stepping up to make their own rocket and then watch it launch.
There were many other activities going on during a busy weekend in Prince George as residents and visitors alike find ways to enjoy themselves while trying to beat the heat. Officially, the high temperature in Prince George on Saturday was 32.4 degrees.

It sure would be nice if Opinion 250 could inform the public a bit more with a few more govt scandal stories on their website. All the feel good stories are awesome, but I for one would like some of the BS that goes on under our noses with tax payer dollars to be exposed by more news sites.
Perhaps a dedicated thread 24/7 on the subject?
