Prince George, B.C. -Prince George RCMP have revealed more details regarding the pedestrian who was struck at 15th and Edmonton late Tuesday afternoon.

Constable Patrick Kennedy says the victim is a 50 year old female from Prince George and confirms she was struck by a westbound pick-up truck.

He says drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash though he says the investigation is ongoing.

Kennedy says the victim spent last night in surgery at UHNBC and was then air-lifted to hospital in Vancouver where she is currently listed in critical condition and receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit.

He says no other details are available and says charges have not been laid at this time.
