Armed Robbery

Prince George, B.C.-Just after midnight, a lone male entered the Husky Gas station on Central Street west and threatened the cashier with violence in his demand for money.
He then grabbed the till from the counter and ran out the door. A male matching the description oft the thief was located a short distance away trying to open the cash register. He was arrested without incident.
The investigation continues.

Stupid criminals can be dangerous. But, this one? Just plain dumb! Good catch.
I guess when they say “armed” they don’t mean “armed with an excess of intelligence”.

Thought all gas stations used a window after a certain time in the evening to prevent this from happening..

I think the safety window are only for attendants who are working alone after certain hours of the day…. but maybe we need all tills behind glass to prevent or slow down robberies?????
