Prince George, B.C.-  The Canada Winter Games Torch  Relay  will have  a support vehicle,  call it a “chariot of fire”.

Happy Trails RV in Prince George has become the latest official supplier to the 2015 Winter Games,   supplying a 30 foot RV that will   tour the region as part of the Summer Torch tour, and then  as part of the 2015 Games  torch relay in the fall and winter.

The RV has been customized and it will be on the road this weekend, attending Billy Barker Days in Quesnel.  “Happy Trails RV’s sponsorship provides us  with a distinct opportunity  to promote the 2015 Canada winter Games across the region” says  Stuart Ballantyne, CEO of the 2015 Games. “It will spread the spirit of the Canada Games everywhere it goes and, as we tour British Columbia as part of our ongoing community outreach efforts, will bring attention  to the largest multi-sport and cultural event the region has ever hosted.”

Happy Trails Assistant Manager, Scott Miller  says this is “tremendous, this (the 2015 Games) is one of the biggest events Prince George has ever seen. The effects in the long run from the games,  will be enormous not only for Prince George, but the whole region.  We just think this (donating the RV) is a great way to support the Winter Games and Prince George as a whole.”
