Prince George, B.C. – The Wildfire Smoke Advisory for Prince George is over.
The Ministry of the Environment says PM2.5 concentrations in the airshed have remained low overnight and the current conditions are expected to continue for the next 24 hours.
The Ministry reminds us thought, that the fires that produced the smoke over the last days are still active and smoke conditions could change rapidly.
The lifting of the advisory also means the City's Free Fare for Clean Air program that allows for free transit during air quality episodes, will come to an end sat midnight tonight.
