Stolen Pick-ups Recovered on Southern City Limits
Prince George, B.C. – Prince George RCMP have recovered a pair of stolen pick-up trucks and arrested an Alberta man in connection with the thefts.
At about 6:50 Friday night police executed a search warrant at a property in the 400 block of Damms Road, south of Prince George. A 34 year old Grand Prairie resident was arrested after being found in possession of a Ford F-350 which had been stolen in Fort St. John in November of 2013. Police also seized another F-350 from the property, also believed to be stolen.
Investigating officers say both trucks had new Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) placed on them, in an effort to avoid detection by authorities.
The 34 year old male was later released on a promise to appear and will be facing charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.

How is it that there are so many pickup and equipment thefts in this town?
It almost seems that the public needs to be warned when these thieves are let out of jail because they’ll be right back at it again.
The present system of control isn’t working.
It looks like they were targeting f-350. The police should inform the public wich vehicles are at higher risk so the public can be more vigilant
He was released so he could go get a few more Fords. Everyone and their dog knows the F250/350 is an easy steal and if you have one you need anti-theft deterent
Always seemed odd to me that a guy who allegedly stole two pick ups promises to show up for his court date and we believe him. Guess there isn’t enough room at the inn.
