Prince George, B.C.- The wildfire smoke advisory for Prince George has been lifted.
24 hour rolling averages for PM 2.5 at the Plaza 400 site at noon were 18.9 micrograms per cubic metre, below the Provincial target of 25 micrograms per cubic metre.
The levels of PM10 were 37.4 micrograms per cubic metre, below the provincial target of 50 micrograms per cubic metre.
The cancelation of the advisory means the City's Free Fare for Clean Air program that lets folks ride transit for free, will end at midnight tonight.

I wonder why these bad air advisories seem to always be about a day late in coming?
I presume its because they have to look at their data first, instead of having a look outside and simply just smelling the air.
