Second Death In Ft. St. John Homicide Probe

Ft. St. John, B.C.- A 64 year old man from Manitoba,   found injured  when police  investigated a complaint of a man  with a gun ,  has succumbed to his injuries.

On Tuesday afternoon, Ft. St. John RCMP  went to a building  in the 10,000 block  of 105th Avenue in Ft. St. John where they discovered a  60 year old woman  who was deceased, and a 64 year old man suffering from  what police believe were self inflicted wounds.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment but has since succumbed to his injuries.

Police believe this is to be an isolated incident as the individuals knew each other and there is no evidence to support the injuries were caused by a third party.

The investigation continues, and police are now working in partnership with the BC Coroner’s Service to determine exactly what occurred.
