Sunday, August 17, 2014 @ 3:48 AM

Prince George, B.C. – Federal NDP Leader Tom Mulcair will be in B.C.'s Northwest Monday.

Skeena-Bulkley Valley NDP MP Nathan Cullen says they will meet with Haisla Leadership, representatives from the District of Kitimat, the band council in Hartley Bay and a take part in a community reception in Terrace.

"We're bringing Tom Mulcair here because it's such an incredibly important part of not just our region, but I'd argue right across the country."

Cullen says the area is "ground zero for a lot of big questions facing Canada right now," especially Enbridge Northern Gateway.

"I think the issue will be on the ballot for sure. When people go to vote in federal elections there's only so many issues on the radar – I think Enbridge Northern Gateway is certainly there."

What makes the visit even more special according to Cullen is it's Mulcair's first as party leader.

"Tom's a big supporter of the things we're trying to do here and it only seemed right to have him here."

Maybe he can fly over Mt Polly on his way? That is if Harper will let him.

Screaming mad Mulcair. The red faced vein-popping wannabe stroke victim that stamps his little foot saying “no fair”. Hilarious.
