The Prince George Cougars are excited to welcome over 100 players and their families to the City of Prince George for Training Camp, 2014. Training Camp begins on Friday, August 22nd at Noon and runs wraps up on the evening of Monday, August 25th.
 
All of our fans are invited to join us for the first true look at the potential roster for the 2014-2015 WHL season. Veteran Cougars like Marc McNulty (Detroit Red Wings prospect), Jansen Harkins (Recent gold medal winner at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament), Chance Braid and Ty Edmonds will be taking the ice alongside future Prince George Cougar stalwarts like Josh Anderson (1998, third overall) and Kody McDonald (1998, 24th overall). It will also give fans their first look at the 2014 draft class that features Justin Almeida (fifth overall), Max Martin (27th overall) and Ethan O’Rourke (53rd overall).

“We are really excited to welcome over 100 players and families to the City of Prince George for the first Training Camp of the New Ice Age,” said Prince George Cougars General Manager, Todd Harkins. “This will be our most competitive Training Camp in years, and interest in attending a Prince George Cougars Training Camp is at an all-time high.”
 
Registration begins at Noon on Friday and will go until 2:00 PM. A welcome meeting will then take place at 2:30 PM before the 1998 and 1999-born players will take the ice for a Young Guns Game at 4:00 PM.

A full day of scrimmages takes place on Saturday, August 23rd starting at 9:00 AM and running all the way through 9:15 PM. Players will then return to the CN Centre on Sunday at 9:00 AM for more scrimmages and meetings, which will run all day Sunday.

All of the remaining players at camp will participate in a Black vs. White Intra-squad game at 7:00 P.M. Monday evening at CN Centre.

*All Training Camp scrimmages and games are open to the public at no charge.

Training Camp is also a perfect time for fans to swing by the CN Centre and test-drive their seats for the 2014-2015 season. The CN Centre Ticketmaster office will be open on Friday and Saturday and their staff will be on hand to answer any ticket-related questions you may have.
