Prince George, B.C.- The temperatures may have cooled some, but the fire danger throughout the Prince George Fire Centre, remains high to extreme.
The P.G. Fire Centre is reminding the public that the ban on Category 2 and 3 fires remains in place. That means, with the exception of campfires that are no larger than half a metre high by half a metre wide, there is to be no open burning. This includes burning barrels.
Meantime, in the Northwest Fire Centre, all fires, including campfires, remain banned. That ban will remain in place until September 15th or notified otherwise.
