Cruisin’ for MS
Formidable grill at the A&W Cruisin' for MS event – photos 250News
Prince George, B.C.- As people lined up at the Westgate A&W for their teen burgers, hundreds of others were milling about in the parking lot, taking a good look at some incredible vehicles.
An AMC AMX 390, a Hudson Hornet, and a 30's era Ford complete with bullet holes, were all on display.
The Prince George Cruisin' Classics Car Club and some of its associates, brought their vehicles to the A&W this evening to lend their support to the fundraising event.
One dollar from every teen burger sold will go to the local MS Society. While the final tally on the dollars raised won't be known until tomorrow, the first ever People's Choice Award at this event, was handed out and it went to the owner of the least shiny vehicle on the lot.
Stan Todoruk's 30's era Ford, with the bullet holes below the rear window, was chosen by those who attended the show as their favourite. ( see photos at bottom of story)

Bel Air station Wagon…..50 years later they call them SUV’s. That’s right yupsters….you are driving a station wagon.
Nomad was and will always be a classic. Most kids nowadays are driving station wagons, civics, golfs, matrix, pretty much all station wagons but the kids prefer to call them hatchbacks. I had a hatchback on my 280z and Camaro and these new cars ain’t no hatchback, they are wagons.
Thanks Slinky, I feared calling it a Nomad…owned a 240z and a 280z….the dealer called them ‘touring cars”….
Let’s see most Sport Utility Vehicles are All Wheel Drive! So no comparison Digit !
There are some nice rides stashed in this town. Nobody was ever an AMC fan but those Javelins were sweet looking cars.
You are right Noway, I also owned a Ford Bronco that was called a AWUV. All wheel utility vehicle. Progression.
Stan’s car is a 1934 ford he built that car in 8 months from just a body and a bunch of parts. It came from lying on its side in an old dried up creek bed in 100 mile. The bullet holes are real as is most of the original paint. what a cool little hotrod. Just proves you don’t need shiny paint to have a cool car
Anyway, any one have a Porshe 959 for sale ?
I think Bill Gates still has a few 959’s
