Prize Winner Ecstatic
Prince George, B.C.- “I’m ecstatic” that’s how Brad Johnston describes how he feels about winning the first Early Bird prize in the Hospice Society’s Dream Home Lottery.
Johnston’s ticket was drawn last Friday night, and today, he was at Cycle North in Prince George, to pick up his new Polaris Sportsman 570 EFI and Polaris ATV Trailer. The prize package is valued at $9677.00 and was donated by Cycle North in Prince George.
Johnston was all smiles as he sat on his new toy “To win the first one ( prize) especially is amazing. I’ve never really won anything in my life before.”
Johnston is an off-roader, but doesn’t know if he will get to ride this new machine “My boy’s actually called first dibs on this, so I’m going to have to fight him for it.”
The Hospice Dream Home Lottery offers three more early bird prizes, including a 10 day stay at a special resort in Spain, a $2,000 gift card from Canadian Tire , and bikes and helmets from Koops Bikes and a one week stay at Mount Washington’s Bear Mountain Lodge.
Of course the BIG prize is the dream home itself, which is appraised at $480 thousand dollars. Only 8999 tickets are being sold.
