Prince George, BC – Conservation Officers in Prince George have been made aware of a cougar sighting in the west end of the City.

The animal was spotted  in the  bush  along Marleau Road near  Lalonde.

Conservation  Officer Gary Van Spengen  was not surprised to hear about the cat “There is a healthy population of cougars in the Prince George area.”

There is no information to  believe this cat is any threat to  the neighbourhood.
