Contract Talks to Resume

Prince George, B.C. – Mediator Vince Ready has called on both sides in the teachers dispute to come back to the bargaining table this afternoon and to bring their full negotiating teams with them.
That’s an encouraging sign as it suggests the two sides are close enough to warrant further talks.
If Vince Ready’s previous history plays out, he will likely keep both sides at the table until a deal has been hammered out.
Yesterday, the two sides huddled with Ready in what has been referred to as a briefing session. Today’s round is expected to get down to the difficult task of trying to resolve the issues.

The issue will not be resolved until the government is willing to remove clause E81 from the table. That is the sand in the gears.
