Prince George, B.C. – The SPCA is holding its annual Paws for a Cause walk to fight animal cruelty today.
Each year people in about 40 B.C. communities register, fundraise and walk to protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in the province. Every dollar raised goes to the BC SPCA to rescue and care for abused, injured and abandoned animals and to prevent cruelty before it ever occurs.
The Prince George walk is being held at Cottonwood Island Park. Registration begins at 10 this morning with the walk kicking off at 11.
