Free Concert in the Park

Sunday, September 7, 2014 @ 3:54 AM

Prince George, B.C. – Have you ever wondered which musical compositions would make the Top Ten Classical Classics list?

If so, you might want to venture over to Fort George Park as Music Director Kevin Zakresky and the Prince George Symphony Orchestra celebrate the end of summer with Classics in the Park.   It’s the PGSO’s annual free concert, running from 2 to 4 pm and it’s offered to all who may want to attend.

I might be wise to take along a jacket and perhaps some sort of headwear.  Environment Canada is forecasting cloudy skies with a 60% chance of showers and the possibility of an afternoon thunderstorm. The high 18 degrees.

Regarding that headwear.…..try a hockey helmet. The concert is sponsored by the Prince George Cougars!

I attended a movie in the park at Stanley Park this summer and that was a really neat cultural event. I hope this went over well for those that attended.
