Surrey Man Charged With Armed Robbery

Prince George- A 26 year old Surrey man is in custody facing numerous charges following an armed robbery of a gas station in the 800 block of Central last night.
Police say a man, entered the gas station brandished a knife, and then escaped on foot with two packs of cigarettes and two lighters.
He was taken into custody a short time later after trying to elude the RCMP.
He faces charges of Robbery, Theft under $5,000 dollars, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of property obtained by crime, Obstruction, and breach of conditions.
He has an outstanding warrant for breach of conditions, in Surrey.
