Prince George, B.C.- Two people have been taken to hospital with minor injuries following a crash at 15th and Central in Prince George this afternoon.
The RCMP Canine unit suburban was responding to an armed robbery call when it was struck by another vehicle. The investigation into the collision continues.
One of the two people hurt was an officer from another city who was on a “ride along” with the Dog handler.

…or it struck another vehicle. Don’t let the bias show too much.
I saw it happen, he flipped his little interior red/blues on and booked her thru the light no siren, no roof lights just these little red and blue lights on the side window the guy in the pickup had the light and no chance
Jimmy needs to heed thier own advice.
Think the cop will be charged with undo care an attention?
Look at the picture Jimmy. Kind of obvious who hit who. Hope everyone is ok.
All that is known for sure at this time is the white pickup struck the K9 suburban.
I know all you anti-police/anti-authority and nay Sayers are chomping at the bit but until more information is released try not to jump to snappy conclusions but then again it’s never stopped you guys before from making your own conclusions truth or not.
It was very busy at the intersection at this time. How is it that ALL of the other vehicles noticed but the white Dodge didn’t?
Dearth, people want to hear negative, that’s human nature. What’s the gossip around the office, work site, normally negative, half posters will complain about anything, the other half are optimistic and look toward positive, healthy things. The intelligent ones will wait to hear all the facts……
Did the officer screw up? 10 witnesses will give 5 or 6 different versions of what occurred, that’s normal human behavior.
After seeing no effect to a code 3 ambulance going through Cowart and 16 last week, I think a lot of people are not paying attention to driving when they’re in a vehicle.
Personally I think they should crank the volume a few decibels higher at intersections.
Hope the Dogs ok.
I am not sure, but I think its not allowed to go through a intersection without a siren on.
Guy’s lucky the cops didn’t jump out and taser him.
Too many witnesses.
All that is known for sure at this time is the K9 suburban struck the white pickup. Fixed it Dearth.
Classic cops and robbers.
“All that is known for sure at this time is the K9 suburban struck the white pickup”
He slid into it sideways right?
Had a “ride along” eh? mmmmm Better hope the ride along signed a waiver and authorization before the ride a long or else somebody gonna pay….and the dog man will be in kaka.
Maybe was the dog driving
Maybe was gonna show off to the ridealong and instead got into accident
It almost looks like the suburban…………. aw, never mind. I’ll wait for more details. I know photos of accident scenes can be very misleading.
Must have Lights and Siren on, to be considered an emergency vehicle!
No siren, PC should be at fault!
So……………………….
It’s pretty quiet about the “ARMED ROBBERY” they were responding to!!
250 news must be slipping to let this story get away………..
I saw the whole thing as well and my job involves assessing traffic, so to speak. Fault on both sides, but I won’t say more. It’s not my place. I just hope everyone is okay. Brutal to watch.
