One Lucky Driver

Prince George, B.C.- A young driver is very lucky to be alive this evening, after his vehicle was involved in a crash on Isle Pierre road.
Witnesses tell 250News the vehicle was heading towards Highway 16 when it was involved in a collision with a log on a logging truck heading in the same direction.
There were no serious injuries reported.
Police are investigating.

Or did the log fall from the truck
Looking at that car, I’d say he flat out ran into the back of the truck – no way a log falling from the truck would do that.
I am not surprised this happened. It seems a lot of people are in a big hurry to get past the big trucks, at any cost.
peegee: not unless it bounced pretty high. No, it looks like he tried to dodge it at the last second and it went in through the passenger window. You can see where it levered up into the top corner of the door. I know I wouldn’t want to be that close to a log that size, when it snapped!

Did it snap before or after going through the windshield?
