Prince George, B.C. – There’s now a third official candidate for School Board in District 57.

Chief Election Officer Sharon Cairns has confirmed Valentine Crawford has filed his nomination papers.

Crawford served one term on the board before failing in his bid for re-election in 2011.

Crawford, who is employed at the Ramada Hotel in Prince George, joins incumbents Tim Bennett and Betty Bekkering as the only candidates to file their papers so far.

That number promises to swell to five soon as current Trustees Trish Bella and Brenda Hooker have also indicated they will seeking another term in office.
