Alert Officer Nabs Youth With Sawed Off .22
Prince George- A 16 year old youth, from what police are calling, a small community northwest of Prince George, will appear in court today facing six charges in connection with a routine stop by a police officer last night in Prince George.
At around 10pm, the police officer conducted the search on the 16 year old, near the corner of 17th Ave ,and Tamarack St.
He was found to be packing a sawed off loaded .22 calibre rifle, a machete, and Marihuana. He also provided a false name.
Police are recommending charges of, possession of a unauthorized firearm, Carrying a concealed weapon, possess weapon dangerous to the public, Obstructing a police officer, possession of a controlled substance, and failing too comply with probation,(four counts).
Because he is a youth his name cannot be released.

yep…and he’s only 16. His career as a lifetime criminal is just beginning.

But, Damn good police work. Sometimes doing a check like that, the way the guys acting gives you a gut feeling that something ain’t right and you check. WELL DONE!
the police generally do a good job on these type of things but it is the laws and courts and ,yes, bleeding hearts that they rely on to get away with this.
