Foxy De-Rossi Joins the Race for Seat on Council

Prince George, B.C. – Add the name Travis Shaw (Foxy De Rossi) to the ballot for Prince George city Council.
He has officially filed nomination papers for this, his second run at a seat on City council in Prince George.
In a brief news release issued this morning, he says his platform is all about “”Creating a brighter image for Prince George, developing commonalty and prominent communication through citizenry and better involvement for local – provincial & federal governments – pro economy pro environment & pro social issues & programs”
Travis Shaw ran in the election in 2011 and garnered 1598 votes, finishing last in the pack of nominees.

Was this the transgender candidate from last election? It’s dificult to believe 1598 people would support those values at the council table. Pro social issues and programs sounds more like this person should be running for provincial rather than municipal. Social programs are a provincial area of responsibility.
Apparently Prince George already has a gay councillor so why not a transgender too? ☻
