Prince George, B.C.- Three more candidates have filed their nomination papers for the municipal election.
Cameron Stolz, current Councillor is seeking his third term at the council table.
Newcomer Ron Gallo, known for his work with the Prince George Spruce Kings , is now officially in the race. It is his first time entering the political arena.
The third entrant is Trent Derrick who ran for Council in 2008 and collected 4335 votes, not enough to secure a seat on Council.
The nomination period closes at 4 p.m. on Friday October 10th.

Foxy foxy foxy!
Still of the opinion, if you haven’t been impressive in a positive way by your 2nd term in office, clearly a third term is just seat warming and you don’t need to be there.
Great to see a larger cross section of people running. I would be working hard for votes right now if I was a current councilor.
And the circus begins
Trent also ran for Mayor in 2005. In my opinion the greater the number of people in the race the less likely we are to get any real change. Most won’t pay attention to the candidates platform and at any debate event they will not get enough time to really let us know who they are. It is going to turn in to simple name recognition, the person with the biggest sign budget is likely to win.
