Thank you Ben! I’m extremely happy to have you back on the airways to ensure that the right questions are being asked and the candidates are providing straight talk not political back talk.
That old saying comes to mind as we proceed into our Civic election “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” Wake up folks! Find out who backs the candidates, run like hell away from the Green/Stolz circle of dysfunction. We don’t need a passing of the torch on bad policy and self interest.
+1 Cicero. Also a reminder that you don’t have to vote for all the seats available. Choose the name(a) that make the best sense to you and your needs.
This is fabulous news Ben!!!! Here are a few questions that I would like answered:
1. Will you commit to removing the Canada Winter Games levy from the n3xt tax levy AND are you committed to not replacing it with something else?
2. Non-discretionary user fees for sewer/water etc have increased substantially in the past 5 years. Do you think this trend should be stopped or do you think that the citizens just need to get used to paying more? Do you think that the citizens of Prince George should be paying a “rain” tax to subsidize sewer and water infrastructure?
3. Everyone talks about having better communication with the citizens and more transparency about what goes on at City Hall. Give me a specific example of how you will ensure that there is better communication and transparency.
4. The amount of money spent on road rehabilitation has doubled from 3.5 million in 2013 to 7 million in 2014. Do you see this trend will continue and if you do where will the money come from?
I’m really looking forward to hearing Ben back on the radio. Thanks for doing this.
