Williams Lake, B.C.- The names of the two people who died in a crash  in Williams Lake on the long weekend have been released.

The BC Coroners Service says 29 year old Shayne Christoper  Fair was the driver of Jeep Cherokee that was heading southbound on South Lakeside Drive shortly before 1 a.m. on October 11th.

The vehicle went out of control, rolled  and ended up on  railway tracks on the east side of road.

Both Shayne Fair and his passenger,  42 year old Christopher Grant, were deceased at the scene. Both men were  residents of Williams Lake.

The RCMP and Coroners Service continue to  investigate.
