Festival of Trees Holding Entertainment Auditions
Prince George, B.C. – It promises to be a busy month between now and November 15th as you try to navigate your way through the platforms of the fourty-five candidates contesting the sixteen total seats available on council and school board.
However come November 16th it will all be decided, the chatter about the results can take place and the dust be allowed to settle…..until 2018. Now if you think you’ll be electioned-out on the 16th, there’s a relaxing change of pace in store the very next weekend. The Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation’s 21st annual Festival of Trees runs for ten days, from Nov 21st to the 30th.
The foundation hosts the event for two purposes: to thank the community for all of its support over the years and to raise funds to enhance healthcare in area communities and at UHNBC.
If you’ve attended in past years you will undoubtedly have enjoyed the entertainment which has been supplied. If you haven’t attended you’ve missed out on what has become a traditional beginning of the Christmas season. Now in past years entertainers have simply let organizers know that they’re interested in performing at the festival. Not so this year.
Organizers are inviting entertainers to audition to perform. They’re asking that you submit a short bio and an audio/visual recording in an email to Judyr103@gmail.com by November 3rd to be considered for this year’s Festival of Trees.
