Prince George, B.C. – Today may have been windy in Prince George, but  it  set a new  record high temperature.

The temperature in Prince George peaked at  20.7 Celsius,  four full  degrees above the old mark  of 16.7 set on this day in 1952.

Environment Canada meteorologist Alyssa Charbonneau  says  the balmy conditions may be short lived “We  are enjoying a  system that had brought a  strong flow of air  up from the south south west,  but there is a  cold front on the coast  that will  make its way into the region tonight, and that will cool things off.”

Prince George was not the only community in B.C. to set a new record high today, Clinton did as well. In Clinton today, the temperature hit 17 degrees,  breaking the old mark of 15.6 set back  in 1973.  There were at least 8 other communities in the Vancouver region which hit new highs.   As mentioned before, official  numbers are not yet available as   it is possible  they  could climb by a tenth of a degree or so before  starting the cool down.

Warm is right, hunting sucks in these indigenous summers. But, on the bright side, took 20 peppers and about 30 tomatoes off the vine and put my beds to bed. Best growing season I’ve ever had. Now, if it would just cool off, I can go in search of the ghost (two point)

Ha ha Abby was21c.
