Multiple Ways to Stay Politically Engaged

Prince George, B.C. – Prince George voters still have multiple opportunities to stay engaged and learn more about the candidates standing in the upcoming local elections this November 15th.

For those wanting to learn more about candidates to Prince George City Council the following options are available:

You can listen to the Meisner Program at 93.1 CFISFM or at www.250news.com from 9 am to 10 am. Here’s the remaining schedule:

Oct. 22nd -Wednesday: Council Candidates Monica Peacock and Greg Kauk

Oct. 23rd – Thursday: Council Candidates Trent Derrick and Susan Scott

Oct. 24th – Friday: Council Candidates Bryan Mix and Don Roberts

Oct. 27th – Monday: Council Candidates Jillian Merrick and Jason Luke

Oct. 28th -Tuesday: Council Candidates Albert Koehler and Travis Shaw

Oct. 29th – Wednesday: Council Candidates Brian Skakun and Ron Gallo

Oct. 30 and 31st NO PROGRAM

Nov. 3rd – Monday: Council Candidates Ravi Saxena and Garth Frizzell

Nov. 4th – Tuesday: Council Candidate Harry Ulch

Nov. 6th – Thursday: Council Candidates Terri McConnachie and Alex Huber

Nov. 7th – Friday : Council Candidate Roy Spooner

Nov. 10th – Monday : Council Candidates Debora Munoz and Murry Krause

November 11th – NO PROGRAM

Nov. 12th Wednesday: Council Candidates Frank Everitt and Dave Wilbur

Nov. 13th – Thurs.: Fluoride Referendum

Nov. 14th, Friday – Mayoral Candidates Lyn Hall and Don Zurowski

Other options are as follows:

Meet the candidates forum October 30th from 6 pm to 9 pm at UNBC’s Bentley Centre.

Mayoral forum at UNBC’s Canfor Theatre on November 6th starting at 7:30 pm.

CNC councillor candidate forum on November 13th starting at 7 pm.

School Board:

CNC will host an all candidates trustee forum October 29th at 7 pm in room 1-306.

Trustee forum November 4th at 7 pm at Vanier Hall.

yes cameron was in a conflict of interest and should be punished , but he is a business owner and goes through the trials and tribulations of independence . He deals with the liabilities and financial hardships. That makes him a good person for council, to help run the city as a business, like koler who doesn’t need the job but cares , not like the government trough feeders like hall who knows nothing about risk and how to run a business ,and everett who plays both sides of the fence advocating for unions , while grinding the city workers
