Prince George, BC – The annual mid winter music festival, Coldsnap, will be part of the 2015 Canada Winter Games.
A partnership between the 2015 Winter Games Society and the Prince George FolkFest Society will see Coldsnap as part of the Cultural Festival of the 2015 Games.
“The timing of the 2015 Canada Winter Games and the Coldsnap festival presents a unique opportunity for us to participate in the 2015 Games Arts and Cultural Festival,” says Elissa Meiklem, Chair and Producer with Coldsnap. “We are particularly excited to partner on legacy aspects that will support the cultural landscape of Prince George in years to come.”
The schedule of events for the Arts and Cultural Festival will be released next month.

Well, at least it will give the out of town guests a little bit to do since city council in its wisdom does not want to licence any clubs where people can actually go out and have fun.
We don’t know that Oldun. I haven’t heard council turn down a rock club. Just cowboy bars. Maybe council doesn’t like country music. ;-)
Winter Games have been complaining they don’t have enough accommodations in PG so they are looking a bussing people from goodness know how far way, Quesnel, Vanderhoof, maybe further…. so now they are going to add Coldsnap to the mix…
good luck with that…
