Library Budget Boosted
Prince George, B.C.- The Prince George Public Library will be getting a little more money from the City for its 2015 budget.
Council for the City of Prince George has approved a boost of $73,438 dollars to the Library for next year, meaning the City’s total contribution to the Library will be $3,745,328.00
The Library is the most utilized facility in the City appealing to all demographics.
Tourism Prince George is expecting a 6% increase in its revenues for next year, largely through the hotel room tax.
Tourism P.G. is also predicting a 3% decrease in its expense for 2015. The focus in 2015 will be to improve the perception of the community, increase overall visitation metrics of visits, length of stay and dollars spent in the community.
